Authentic kukui nut necklaces, accented with wooden discs and, in certain designs, adorned with mongo shells, present an exquisite blend of natural elements. Each necklace features a sequence of kukui nuts, interspersed with wooden discs and rings of mongo shells, although the 18" Rasta and the brown kukui versions with black wood discs do not include mongo rings. This careful composition creates a unique aesthetic appeal. Ribbon color may vary.

The Kukui Tree is commonly grown in the Hawaiian Islands. It is a symbol of enlightenment, protection, and peace. Necklace lengths: approximately 18" or 32" long. Ties behind the neck and can be adjusted up to 5 inches. You can also remove some of the nuts and shells to make the lei shorter. These can be worn as is or taken apart for other craft projects.
