These beautifully handcrafted shell leis are made from genuine abalone shells with mongo shell rings between each shell. Each lei measures approximately 34" in length and can be adjusted slightly depending on how the satin ribbon is tied.
The shells feature a natural graduated design measuring approximately 1" to nearly 2" in length. The shells toward the ends are slightly smaller, creating a balanced and visually appealing flow throughout the lei.
Due to the natural iridescence of abalone, the shells may appear different in various lighting conditions. Because these leis are handcrafted using real shells, no two are exactly alike and natural variations in color and pattern should be expected. Can be taken apart for other projects.
