These beautifully handcrafted shell leis are made from genuine abalone shells. Each lei measures approximately 34" in length and can be adjusted slightly depending on how the satin ribbon is tied.
The shells feature a natural graduated design, with most measuring approximately 1.5" to 2" in length. The shells toward the ends are slightly smaller, creating a balanced and visually appealing flow throughout the lei.
Due to the natural iridescence of abalone, the shells may appear different in various lighting conditions. Please refer to the listing photos to see how the colors can shift and reflect.
Because these leis are handcrafted using real shells, no two are exactly alike and natural variations in color and pattern should be expected.
For an additional fee, these leis can be strung on a different colored ribbon if you prefer a custom look.
